Live Firing Monitoring Equipment (LFME)

Monitoring, recording and debriefing of firing exercises - in real-time without restrictions.

LFME provides the instructor a comprehensive overview during the entire live firing process and provides tremendous training benefits to crews and instructors. Improved use of training time and reduced use of expensive ammunition is achieved through objective feedback to crews on their performance. Within minutes, LFME can be installed in different vehicles and weapon systems, from a single vehicle up to platoon level or higher, without placing any restrictions on the vehicle’s mobility.

LFME INSTRUCTOR STATIONS:
LFME is available in two main variants: stationary and mobile. The stationary system installs in shooting range control towers. Mobile system is either truck-based or in rackmount systems for greatest mobility and flexibility with minimal infrastructure requirements at the shooting range.

COMMANDER AND GUNNER SIGHT VIEWS AVAILABLE TO INSTRUCTOR:
LFME delivers complete audio and visual information from inside each vehicle to the instructor. LFME transmits this data in real-time via a microwave link from the vehicles back to the instructor station. The instructor can observe all activities and intervene in the exercise to block the shot at any time.

AFTER ACTION REVIEW FOR DEBRIEFING AND ANALYSIS:
All vehicle information is digitally recorded at the instructor station and ready to use for a comprehensive and detailed debriefing and analysis immediately after a firing exercise is performed. For the first time, live-fire instructors can precisely show why a miss or hit happened.
