LEOPARD 2 A5 – The first upgrade of the world’s leading battle tank

The Leopard 2 A5 was adapted, developed and qualified to meet the new challenges and threat scenarios across the globe. With it, the Bundeswehr gained a modified version of the world’s most advanced main battle tank to this day, with expanded command and night-vision capabilities, increased survivability and new modes of action, in addition to its significantly enhanced protection.
